Mamota Project Report of Award Giving Ceremony for Champion Crest awarding is Mamota Project’s crowning ceremony, we proudly recognize outstanding performance of Organization, LGI representatives, Volunteers, and staff who contributed significantly, serve the service, cooperation and support to implement the project successfully. And honoring individuals and organizations in 13 categories, including achievement, service, supports, cooperation and leadership and a number of total 95 people from four Upazilas received this award and 100 people received mug as a sign of encouragements. At the beginning of the program, discussion meeting was held to disclose the purpose of this event. Upazila Coordinator of the Mamota Project, Farzana Sultana delivered the welcome speech. Letter on, chief guest handed over all crest to the following categories participants: Union Union FWC/FP Health Community Total Remarks Tarapur 01 02 00 05 08 Bamondanga 01 01 01 05 08 Sonaroy 02 03 01 02 08 During the closing session chief guest said that this event is just start of the work, the people of these areas, the service providers applauded the work and thought of the benefits of the people of the area through joint hands with Mamota Project to speed up the work. This event is an effort to express the gratitude of those individuals and institutions that have played a role as a bridge for receiving services from UHFWCs. Although the arrangement is small, but it is organized to express our respect and compassion to the people who worked without any financial advantage, just for the people. Special guest Dr. Sekender Ali said that, we have to look forward and carry these achievements for the future. Those who are not awarded this time will achieve more to earn award next time. Gaibandha Sadar: UFPO of Gaibandha Sadar Mahabuba Khatun present in the occasion as a chief guest. At the beginning of the program, discussion meeting was held to disclose the purpose of this event. They proved that if we have proper willpower, we can change the service quality. With your proper help lots of mother are receiving service from our UHFWCs. Which didn’t happen earlier. We have to take this responsibility and carry this good achievement for the future. Fulchari: Honorable Upazila Family Planning Officer of Fulchari Upazila Md. Zakirul Islam as the chief guest. Other distinguished guests, all the staff of family planning department, LGI representatives and Mamota Project’s staff were present on the occasion. UP chairman of the Uria Union, Golam Mostofa Kamal Pasha spoke as special guest in the discussion meeting. Then followed the crest awarding session. The nominated organization and people extraordinary in various activities were selected earlier. A number of total 23 through organization, LGI representatives, Volunteers and staff awarded for this year. Among the crest awarded, Surutan Begum, Rumi begum and Chiyada Begum as an unpaid-volunteer shared their feelings and thought to sustain such good work as their cordial interest. Shaghata: Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, MO-MCH-FP, Saghata was present as chief guest. Other distinguished guests, all the staff of family planning department, LGI representatives and Mamota Project’s staff were present on the occasion. But if we cut short the work due to these obstacles, it will appreciate and honored by other” Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, MO, MCH-FP, Saghata said as his speech in the closing ceremony.
